The original Mai Tai was crafted using 17-year aged Jamaican rum, which offered a rich aromatic array of overripe bananas, pineapple, tropical fruits, spices, and other ingredients. This type of rum is no longer in production. 

Our syrup stays true to the classic Tiki flavors, offering the strength and character inherent in that long-forgotten rum: The combination of fruity sweetness, rich almond and bright citrus, infused with a carefully tried and tested combination of spices.

Glass bottle, 12 fluid ounces (375 ml); makes 12 drinks.

Product Details

Pure cane sugar, lime juice, water, star anise, cloves, allspices, cardamon, almond bitter, orange bitter, lemon bitter, natural coconut and pineapple flavors extract.

Preservative Ingredients: citric acid, sodium citrate, and malic acid.

Shake well before opening, as ingredients will settle over time. Keep refrigerated after opening.

Classic Mai Tai

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz (30 ml) Mai Tai Cocktail Syrup
  • 2 oz (60 ml) dark Jamaican rum or spiced rum
  • ½ oz (15 ml) curaçao
  • 2 oz (60 ml) cold sparkling water or club soda

Directions:

  1. Combine the syrup, rum, and curaçao in a shaker with ice. Shake lightly until chilled.
  2. Add cold sparkling water and quickly stir. Strain into a glass over ice.
  3. Garnish and serve.

 

Mai Tai Mocktail

Ingredient:

  • 1 oz (30 ml) Mai Tai Cocktail Syrup
  • 1 oz (30 ml) pineapple juice or any juices
  • 3 oz (118 ml) cold sparkling water

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Stir until chilled and strain into a glass over ice.
  3. Garnish and serve.
